Annavaram (Telugu: అన్నవరం) is a village on the banks of the river Godavari Pampa district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Etymology
Anna translates to "what I want", while "varam" means blessing or boon. Therefore, the name Annavaram is an expression of the belief that the deity will provide with all that you want.

Temples
The most distinctive feature of Annavaram is the shrine of Lord Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy located in the hills of Ratnagiri. The land is considered to belong to both Temple Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swami Lord and Goddess Anantalaxmi Satyavathi Ammavaru. [3] The temple, situated atop a hill, is about four stages (half a mile) away from the base. It can be reached either by walkways covered canopy of the Ghat road or walking through a stone path.

The popularity and importance of the temple is increasing among the pilgrims. This place is considered the second Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. Festivals are held throughout the year. Popular festivals are Kalyanam May Devi Navratri in September, swayamvara Vardhanti of Suddha Ekadasi Day Sraavana, Srirama Kalyana, Kanakadurga Yatra, Prabha Utsavam, Teppa Utsavam and Jalatoranam.
