Hansika Motwani (born August 9, 1991) is an Indian actress who appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her film debut as the lead actress in the Telugu film Desamuduru (2007), winner of the Filmfare Best Female Debut - South. Early life

Pradeep Motwani Hansika Motwani was born to a businessman and Mona Motwani, a dermatologist. She has a brother Prashant Motwani. Her mother tongue is Sindhi and is Buddhist. She was born in Mumbai.

Prune Hansika attended the International School in Mumbai. She continued to study at the Curriculum International School in Mumbai.

Career

Hansika began his television career with a series called Shaka Laka Boom Boom. He later played in Indian serial Des Mein Chand Hoga Niklla, for which she received the Favorite Child Award in Parivaar Price Star and has emerged as one of the children in Koi Mil Gaya with Preity Zinta and Hrithik Roshan.

Hansika made her debut in a leading role in the film Puri Jagannadh Telugu Desamuduru opposite Allu Arjun, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Newcomer -.
