Parineeti Chopra (pronounced [pəriːniːt̪iː tʃoːpɽaː]; born 22 October 1988) is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi films. Chopra initially aspired to a career in investment banking, but after getting a triple degree (in business, finance and economics) from the Manchester Business School returned to India during the economic downturn of 2009 and joined Yash Raj Films as a public relations consultant. Later, a three films with the company as an actress has been signed.

Chopra made her acting debut with a supporting role in the 2011 romantic comedy Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl, a moderate success at the box office. Her performance in the film garnered critical appreciation and earned him the Filmfare Best Female Debut and a nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The following year, she played the female lead in Ishaqzaade, a romantic drama which was a critical and commercial success. Chopra was appreciated for her role earned her several nominations in the category of Best Actress (including Filmfare) and won the National Film Award - Special Mention. It reaches more success for their roles in the 2013 comedy drama Shuddh Desi Romance and romantic comedy in 2014 Hasee Toh Phasee.

In addition to acting in films, Chopra is active in humanitarian work, and has a number of endorsement deals. Her main achievements have made her one of the most promising actresses in India.

Early life and work

Chopra was born October 22, 1988 in Ambala, Haryana in a Punjabi family. His father, Pawan Chopra, is a businessman and supplier of Indian Army in Ambala Cantonment and her mother Reena Chopra. She has two brothers: ShiVang and Saraj; Actress Priyanka Chopra, Meera Chopra and Barbie Handa are his cousins.  Chopra received her early education at the Convent of Jesus and Mary in Ambala Cantonment.  In an interview published in The Hindu, she revealed that she was a very good student and had always wanted to be an investment banker.  at the age of 17, Chopra moved to London, where he received a Bachelor of three in business, finance and the economy of the Manchester Business School in the UK.

In 2009 he returned to India in the wake of the economic crisis and moved to Bombay to stay with her cousin Priyanka. During a visit to the studio Yash Raj Films, Priyanka (who was filming for Pyaar Impossible) Parineeti Introduced at the head of the public relations team of the company. Chopra got an internship in the marketing department, joining the consultant producer and public relations. It is estimated that perfect job, because I could use what I had learned and film work. Ironically, Chopra had hated actors and acting; with it, the profession seems an excuse to wear too much makeup. While working and observing the players, however, the perception has changed. Realized that she never understood the performance and respect for the profession, she rose.

Acting Career

Debut and breakthrough (2011–2012)

While working on promotions for Band Baaja Baaraat, Chopra realized I wanted to be an actress and decided to resign as leader with Yash Raj Films to attend acting school. Director Maneesh Sharma suggested to sign Chopra Aditya Chopra, Yash Raj Films VP. Appalled by the idea of hiring someone from your marketing team as an actress, the vice president refused.  When Parineeti Chopra says Sharma left work to attend acting school advised him to play casting director of the company [10], who asked him to make a "fictitious audition for fun" . Chopra recalled "playing with a camera" and delivery of lines per character Geet movie Jab We Met, without waiting producer Aditya Chopra to view the tape. However, when the producer saw the tape was impressed by his performance. With Sharma describes its "phenomenal" in the screen test  Chopra signed a three films;. Later  Chopra's colleagues said it was a "misfit in an office situation"

In 2011, Chopra made her screen debut in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl romantic comedy in a supporting role with Champ and Anushka Sharma. The film describes how three girls who are deceived by a scammer will shoot him the same trick for him. Chopra has been "spoiled rich kid" Delhi-based Dimple Chadda, who is betrayed by the central character of the film. The film received mixed reviews from critics, and was a moderate success at the box office;  However, the performance of Chopra has been praised by film critics. Komal Nahta said .. "Of the three other girls, Parineeti Chopra is undoubtedly the best she has the best role, best lines and yours is the best performance among the three In fact, it offers many moments of light in the first half and, more importantly, in the second half too. " Roy Telegraph Priyanka Chopra described as" natural "and wrote" among the ladies, Parineeti debutante Anushka flies close the show. pampered and New Delhi girl rich. " the film won several awards, including the Filmfare Award, the Award of the screen, the Apsara Awards and IIFA Award for Best First. 2013-present

Next Chopra was Sushant Singh Rajput and Vaani Kapoor in the romantic dramedy Shuddh Desi Romance, his second collaboration with Maneesh Sharma. The film, set in Jaipur, has received positive reviews from critics and representation of Gayatri Chopra, frank and rebellious daughter, was especially praised. CNN-IBN noted that the film belonged to Chopra, who "Gayatri is the real woman is on the screen,"  and the critical Mayank Shekhar added "Act of Parineeti in the first half of the film is nothing less material Prix win. " Shuddh Desi Romance collected INR46 crore (US $ 7.5 million) in the domestic box office and has emerged as a commercial success. Chopra earned several nominations for Best Actress, including his second Filmfare Best Actress nomination.
