Shruti Haasan Rajalakshmi (born January 30, 1986) is an Indian actress, singer and musician working in the film industry in South India and Bollywood. Her parents Kamal Haasan and Sarika.

As a child artist, she sang in films and appeared in a guest role in his father's Hey Ram (2000) before making her debut in the role of adults in the Bollywood action drama, Luck 2009 . She then won critical acclaim for her role in the fantasy Disney movie in Telugu, Anaganaga O Dheerudu, Oh My Friend and 7aum Arivu. In 2012, She starred in Gabbar Singh, a remake of Telugu Dabangg, which was also his first major commercial success as an actress. After several successful films such as Balupu, Ramayya Vasthavayya, Yevadu and Race Gurram, it has established itself as a leading contemporary actress in the Telugu movie industry. In addition to success in the Telugu film industry, Haasan is also considered one of the most promising actresses of contemporary Hindi cinema with it a contract to act in several prestigious projects like Gabbar and Welcome Back was signed, currently in production. In a recent survey conducted by both Shruti Chennai topped the list of most desirable women.

She also continued her way through the music through work as a singer in Indian languages, a career in musical direction from the production of Unnaipol Oruvan his father and her own band and album.

Early life

Shruti Haasan was born January 30, 1986, and actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur in Chennai, India.  Her younger sister Akshara represents India nationally for Ballroom Latin dancing.  Haasan studied at Abacus Montessori School in Chennai and moved to Mumbai to study psychology at the University of San Andrés.

Approach Haasan film and music, and eventually traveled to the US to continue to learn music at the Musicians Institute in California, before returning to Chennai.

Career

2009-11: Debut and early career

Haasan's first appearance in a feature film was a cameo as the daughter of Vallabhbhai Patel in Tamil-Hindi bilingual Hey Ram, based on an attempted assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, directed by Kamal Haasan her father. After rejecting offers important films, particularly the lead role in Venkat Prabhu Saroja, reports suggested in late 2007 that Haasan was set to make her actual acting debut in 2008 with a movie opposite Madhavan directed by Nishikanth Kamat.  Despite Madhavan admitting that the new "premature", which eventually signed the film, which was titled Endrendrum Punnagai , as it stalled before production.

Haasan finally signed to appear in the film Soham Shah Hindi chance to face Imran Khan in July 2008, and the shooting of the film for nearly a year.  Imran Khan, her  childhood friend recommended her name to the principal and Haasan signed after listening to all the script and agreed to play a dual role in the action film. Shruti part in action scenes during filming, while she also worked out to get a toned body to a sequence that appears in a bikini in the film.  The film was released in July 2009! Negative critical acclaim and had poor opening at the box office, with critics saying it "deserved a better launch vehicle." the authors have criticized his performance with Rajeev Masand Ibn stating that it offers "dialogues with impassive expressions" while another critic said it may be "synthetic fails to impress." Haasan then alongiside Blaaze appear in promotional videos and Unnaipol Oruvan Eenadu bilingual films starring his father, who had composed the music. She made an appearance more in a promotional video of the horror film starring Mallika Sherawat Hisss, where he also sang a song composed by Dave Kushner.

2012-present: success and recent work

Shruti Haasan was seen in the first film Aishwarya Dhanush Dhanush three films a romantic drama co-starring. Aishwarya revealed that she had written the script with Shruti Haasan in mind, but standing problems means that the film started shooting with Amala Paul instead. However, in a twist of events, was rehired Shruti to play the character of Janani, and the film won much hype before release thanks to the collaboration of herself and Aishwarya, being the daughters of the two main actors of Tamil Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth contemporaries as did the success of the song Why this Kolaveri Di?. The film opened in March 2012 to positive reviews with critics message "Shruti Hassan has come a long way,"  Although the film earned only average returns at the box office. Their second release in 2012 was Gabbar Singh Telugu film Harish Shankar, a remake of the 2010 Hindi movie Dabangg, the version offered his side Pawan Kalyan. Shruti had signed the film in November 2011 to replace Ileana D'Cruz, who chose to retire, and played the role of Bhagyalakshmi, a village girl, who had been tested by Sonakshi Sinha in the original version. The film became a huge commercial success at the box office and brought more film offers for Haasan.  Critics also gave his performance a verdict citing that "justifies its role" and "even if it was not a big part, it left its mark."

Future projects

In June 2014, Haasan has completed its work on the language action drama opposite Akshay Kumar Hindi Gabbar, and is currently filming the other three Hindi films, comedy Anees Bazmee Welcome Back John Abraham and Anil Kapoor Nana Patekar,  Drama Tigmanshu Dhulia Yaara face Vidyut Jamwal, Amit Sadh and Irfan Khan, and beautiful Rocky, with John Abraham. Haasan is also currently filming Poojai an opposite action movie Vishal Tamil masala,and Telugu action comedy film opposite Mahesh Babu Aagadu and Tamannaah, who appears in a special song.She has signed by the high production budget Tamil film directed by the fantastic co-star Chimbudevan Vijay actor in the lead role with Hansika Motawani.
