Richa
Gangopadhyay (born Antara Richa Gangopadhyay March 20, 1986) is an Indian
actress, model and former beauty queen. After appearing in commercials, she
made her film debut in the political drama leading Telugu 2010. She has since
appeared in several Telugu movies and commercial success which Mirapakaay
Mirchi. In 2011, she starred in her first Tamil film, Mayakkam Enna, garnering
positive reviews for her performance.

Richa
Gangopadhyay was born March 20, 1986 at Utpal and Paula Gangopadhyay in New
Delhi. Her father worked as vice president of Netshape Technologies, while her
mother worked as director of education at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit. His
parents moved to the United States in 1989 after spending his first year in
Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, with Richa raised in Pennsylvania and Michigan. While
at Okemos High School, and Junior, she appeared in the local media of the
foundation of a mentoring program for young children at risk in Lansing, which
lasted four years. She went on to major
in dietetics and health administration from the University of Michigan.
Career
Early
career and modeling, 2005-09
In
2005 and 2006, Richa began to participate in beauty contests and finished in
the top ten in the Miss India USA contest, earning a lower price for Miss
Congeniality. In August 2007, Richa won the Miss Michigan election in December,
was crowned Miss USA in India in 2007 in the annual parade of 26 held at the
Royal Albert Palace in New Jersey. During the competition, who also won the title
of Miss Photogenic and qualified to represent the United States in the 17th
annual Miss India Worldwide in Johannesburg.
Richa
US left in 2008 in Mumbai, India to embark on a career in film. She later

Productions and directed by leading Sekhar Kammula. It was recommended to Deputy Director of the

Hyderabad and auditioned for the film on his birthday. She was instantly
selected and shooting began two days ago. In the film, she played the role of
Archana, a correspondent for a television station and a daughter of a
politician who falls for the main character, played by newcomer Rana Daggubati.
The open film positive reviews and has done well in the market, featuring Richa
described as "beautiful and charming" and "well in a performance
oriented role" by critics. After the success of the film, the director P.
Vasu She signed to appear in Nagavalli, a sequel to his movie Chandramukhi

first release in 2011 was Mirapakaay action movie with Ravi Teja and Deeksha
Seth also in the lead roles. It was signed after the director Harish Shankar,
had noticed in the former movie leader of the winning party. It was initially
offered the role played by Deeksha as if it were an NRI, but when they met to
discuss the script, I was convinced that Richa not justice to the character of
Vinamra, a traditional Brahmin girl. The
film opened to critical acclaim featuring Richa describing himself as

seen in two Tamil films. the first was Mayakkam Enna, dramatic film based on
